A Java PDF should identify the source unit clearly
A .java file is a source compilation unit, not a compiled class, JAR, or complete project. Its package declaration, imports, top-level declarations, comments, and member order supply context. When converting Java files to PDF one at a time, use the document title to retain the original filename and assignment name, especially when the public type must correspond to that filename.

Compilation-unit layout
Keep Java structure visible beyond the IDE
Java uses braces rather than indentation to define blocks, but indentation still communicates class, method, branch, and lambda nesting. The converter preserves the original source layout and does not apply an IDE formatter.
Anchor the file with its declaration
Retain package and import lines when they matter to the review. Keep the public class, interface, enum, or record name visible near the start, and place the source filename in the PDF title.
Break long generic types deliberately
Nested generics, bounded type parameters, and long method signatures can consume page width quickly. Split parameters consistently and align continuation lines with the declaration they extend.
Shape fluent calls into stages
Put stream, builder, and `CompletableFuture` stages on separate lines. A readable vertical pipeline makes method references, lambdas, and terminal operations easier to follow across a page.
Treat Javadoc as source evidence
